My name is Matt Neufeld, and I’m the regional manager out in the Fraser Valley. So my role here at Kintec is to, I manage a couple of the stores, as well as certified pedorthist, so I see patients on a regular basis for gait analysis, and treatment plans. So one of the big challenges of my job is definitely seeing different unusual cases, customers coming in with a lot of pain or issues that take a lot of thought, and kind of figure out how we can keep them more active and in less pain. We try to develop in house as much as possible, so starting from the ground up anyone who is willing to work in any different area we’re a big enough company that you can be more clinical grow as a pedorthist you can go into management, and you know several jobs around head office with marketing and other things. When I come in, I look forward to just getting new challenges, seeing new patients, new customers, and you know there’s always going to be a case that comes in that I’ve never dealt with, to take that on is a challenge and just to really see the outcome is a rewarding experience working here to see how many lives you’ve touched to be healthier, happier, and more active. One of the big benefits of having a career here at Kintec is just the work, family balance. I have 3 kids at home and a wife and so it’s important for me to spend some time with them. this job allows me to be flexible enough that I can be there for them when i’m needed and you know if I have the time to put more hours in at work I can be quite flexible with my schedule.
